What's the best way to do the theme parks from Orlando?

Walt Disney World (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom) and Universal Orlando (Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe) are two separate resorts, each big enough to fill days on its own, and most trips mix both plus a rest day. Rope-drop mornings mean a pickup before sunrise; a late night at Magic Kingdom means a pickup after the fireworks when every rideshare in the parking complex is surging at once.
